My mom wanted me to call about the Church's pre-school. So I did.
Starting for the 2008-2009 school year, they will have 2,3,4 year olds, all in separate classrooms. (The 2 year old class is new) So I can send both kids 2, 3 or 5 days... the price for 2 days is 110$/month per kid (some sibling discount, maybe, I have to talk to the director) and it's 4 hours each day. So that's about 55$/week for both of them if I do the 2 4 hour days... and the best part (for me
) is that I can do my shopping during those hours... the
school/Church is close to my grocery and drug stores... I can drop them off, do my shopping and pick them up all at once (rather than running back and forth to
home which is about 8 miles from here one way)
The main reason I am going to do it is so Gabrielle can work on some of her social issues (concentrating and listening)... this way if I don't decide to homeschool later, at least she's been exposed to how classroom behavior is supposed to be! It will probably be good for Alek too of course!
